At the time the Air Explorun was a state of the art trail shoe built with a running inspiration but with rugged construction for the athlete looking for a shoe that can cover all terrain, on and off the trail. The upper consists of a high abrasion resistant PU coated leather combined with a non-absorbent synthetic material that combined aid in weight saving and protection. Also, a reinforced toe bumper is paired with a lightweight, neoprene dynamic fit inner for a snug fit with optimum comfort. The midsole is a full length Phylon unit, encapsulating large volume air units in the heel and a thermoplastic innersole board for structural rigidity. All the above paired with soft rubber, multi directional lugs on the outsole make the Explorun a truly impeccable example of performance footwear design. Good vintage condition.
