For a shoe that retailed for $85, you really get a lot of bang for your buck. Just goes to show that shoes were once far, far cheaper to manufacture. The Highball, like other trail running silhouettes from the late 90s, had a level of 'street status' which meant you were more likely to see them in the city than up in the mountains. They feature a plethora of performance oriented technology, including a breathable yet heavy duty mesh, lightweight synthetic leather overlays, midfoot padded 'fingers' that connect to metal eyestays for stability, a Phylon midsole with large visible Air unit in the heel midsole as well as an aggressive outsole with G-Tek forefoot in the forefoot. I wonder what these would retail for these days? Good vintage condition, incredibly rare and a stellar example of technical footwear design. See policies before purchase.
