This Sergio Lozano designed ACG model, which recently saw a re-release, is often heralded as one of the ACG greats and we can certainly see why. The level of detail seen on the Mada is unmatchable, not to mention the high quality of construction. On this particularly rare Canvas iteration we see thick green cotton canvas, suede panelling, rubber toe caps and contrast cream stitch details covering the upper in a manner that simply isn’t seen on modern Nike models. For a shoe that’s nearly 30 years old the uppers are completely flawless, however the same couldn’t be said for the midsoles, or what was left of them. These have been re-soled using a Vibram Bristol sole unit in black, complimenting the upper beautifully. The addition of this traditional hiking sole revives this pair of rare gem of a pair effortlessly, resulting in a truly unique pair of shoes.
