To coincide with the 2002 Winter Olympics being hosted at Salt Lake, Utah, Nike released a range of different models donning the colours of the American flag - the Air Presto and the Air Max 1 were among a handful of other models included in the release. Perhaps the least known about of the bunch was the USA Air Wailuku, releasing in a navy/grey make up with red branding and ‘USA’ embroidery in place of the usual ACG logo on the Velcro shroud. Wailukus have recently surged in popularity, this paired with their rarity means they’re becoming hard to find, and this USA model probably takes the reign as the rarest Wailuku of the lot, a true collectors item and a great addition to any ACG collection. Other than some slight bobbling these are immaculate. Would fit a UK8 comfortably.
