Air Force 1 iD 'Year of the Snake' [2013]

The Nike Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 as the first basketball shoe to feature Nike Air technology. Designed by Bruce Kilgore, it was initially released as a high-top and quickly gained popularity among athletes and sneakerheads. Though discontinued in 1984, demand led to its re-release in 1986. Over the decades, it evolved into a cultural icon, especially in hip-hop and streetwear scenes, spawning countless collaborations and colorways while maintaining its classic design. For the Chinese Year of the Snake in 2013, Nike implemented snakeskin options on its customisable iD platform.
