The 1994 Nike Air Jordan 10, designed by Tinker Hatfield, was the tenth installment in Michael Jordan's iconic signature shoe line. This silhouette marked a departure from previous Air Jordans, featuring a cleaner, more minimalist design. The upper of the shoe was constructed with a combination of leather and nylon mesh, providing durability and breathability. One of the most notable features of the Air Jordan 10 was the outsole, which displayed a unique herringbone traction pattern, offering exceptional grip on the basketball court. The shoe also featured a molded EVA midsole for cushioning and comfort during play. The Air Jordan 10 was released in a variety of colorways, with the "Steel Grey" and "Chicago" being among the most coveted. The "Chicago" colorway, with its black and red detailing, paid homage to MJ's illustrious career with a list of his career achievements on the outsole. Initially the AJ10 had 'toe caps', however Jordan didn't like these and requested them to be removed shortly after release, making original toe capped pairs incredibly rare. This 2005 'Red Steel' pair remains in overall good condition, with some age related marks. Loads of life left.
