Air Max LD-Zero Hiroshi Fujiwara [2016]

In 2016 NikeLab released the Air Max LD‑Zero, a new model blending archival running silhouettes with modern tech - it was the brainchild of streetwear pioneer Hiroshi Fujiwara. This model combined an LD‑1000 inspired upper with the Air Max 2014’s full‑length Max Air sole and a Flywire lacing system. This obsidian colorway, which was the first to release, contrasted deep navy tones with stark white leather on the Swoosh and heel patch, enhanced by tonal suede overlays at the eyestays.
