Air Max MP Ultra [2016]

For Air Max Day 2016, Nike CEO Mark Parker debuted the Nike Air Max MP Ultra as part of an exclusive HTM collection. Reimagining the classic Air Max BW, Parker’s design focused on blending 1980s cut and sew heritage with modern innovation. The sneaker featured a premium Deep Royal Blue and Black palette, highlighted by a unique jacquard woven upper that created a pixelated gradient effect. The model utilised a cored-out Ultra midsole for a lightweight feel while retaining the iconic "Big Window" Max Air unit. Finishing touches included waxed laces, leather accents, Parker’s signature embossed on the heel, an Air lace swing tag and even a suede pouch for spare laces. These are brand new, with OG all. Future classics for sure.
