In 1995, Swoopes made history by becoming the first woman to receive a signature Nike basketball shoe, the Air Swoopes. Building on this success, Nike continued the legacy with the Air Swoopes II two years later, featuring an innovative lacing system and a distinctive vertical Nike swoosh.
