Launched in the late ‘90s, Nike Alpha Project was a design initiative rooted in innovation. Products carried no athlete endorsements, just five dots on the heel: a symbol of experimentation and performance. The Air Tuned Max, introduced in 1999, stood at the apex of that philosophy. Its defining feature, full-length Tuned Air, offered zonal pressure distribution tailored to the stride, a step beyond conventional Air Max. The "Celery" colourway, with its iridescent overlays, foam-molded heel cradle, and black mesh base, became the most iconic of the line. Nike revived this classic in 2020, with a handful of other colourways - none of which beat this OG. Fantastic, lightly used condition.
