Air Zoom Ultra [2000]

Upon initial inspection the Zoom Ultra may look like any other turn of the millennium Nike running shoe, but when you have these in hand and start to look up close, you realise just how fitting 'Ultra' really is - this shoe is packed with tech and performance oriented details. Besides the hits of 3M, mini Swooshes, transparent TPU transfers and the asymmetric toe bumpers the upper features padded panelling on both sides for medial and lateral support, alternating lace loops for lock down and a mix of breathable mesh, synthetic suede and leather. The dual-density midsole is where the tech is really implemented, with full length Zoom Air units, injection molded heel cups and contrasting medial supports. This forgotten silhouette would perform just as well as it did in 2000 as it would today 25 years later. These remain unworn, with OG box.
