Nike Considered was Nike’s first attempt at a sustainable product line, it featured a range of new models, reworked pre-existing models and a clothing line. The footwear consisted of minimal parts, vegetable dyed leathers, interlocking sole components, hemp lacing features and stitched soles. All of the materials were sourced withing a 200-mile radius of Nike’s Thailand factories. When these shoes were first shown to Michael Jordan he said from then on he wanted all Jordans to be made that way! The BB features an inside-out construction, with all the seams facing outwards to aid in comfort and ease of construction. They’re constructed out of a vegetable tanned leather, with hemp laces that feature leather anglets. The upper is stitched to a 1 piece moulded sole unit. This pair remains in fantastic condition.
