Flyknit Racer Air Max 1 Swap [2015]

Originally an OG Turquoise/Hyper Grape Flyknit Racer, this pair has undergone a professional sole swap by esteemed cobbler Minutia. In the early 2010s Nike and Adidas were in a race to develop 1 piece engineered knit uppers. Nike ultimately got there first, however rumour has it they were losing money on every pair sold in the earlier days due to development and manufacturing costs - a price they were willing to pay. Flyknit became somewhat of a phenomenon, and Air Max 1 swaps became quite popular. It was certainly a moment in time. These remain in great condition, and are a rare piece of Nike history. Uppers are a UK7, however they fit a UK8 sole so have been relabelled as such.
