The Foamposite was designed and developed by Eric Avar over a 3-year period. His aim was to develop a shoe that acted as a second skin. The model was the first for which the entire upper was made of a single piece of polyurethane plastic. The process for making this material was developed with Korean car manufacturer Daewoo. This model however has been draped in a denim upper, the denim has been treated with a Defender Repellent Systems water resistant coating. Worn, but plenty of life left.
