By 2006 Fragment Design, the multidisciplinary agency founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara in 2003, had established a deep-rooted partnership with Nike through the HTM initiative alongside Mark Parker and Tinker Hatfield. This specific release arrived during an era when Fujiwara was the primary Japanese figure invited to reinterpret Nike’s archival silhouettes, often adding a signature minimalist touch to Nike's more complex designs.This release saw 2 seperate colourways, with this being the "Birch/Varsity Maize" pair. Fujiwara opted for a woven suede upper, with leather heel and lacestays, sat atop an Air Footscape midsole with contrasting yellow outsole. Used condition.
