After the Air Trainer 1 SB debuted in 2003 with the iconic Black/Paul Brown colorway, San Francisco-based HUF got the opportunity to work on the Air Trainer 1 following their success with their SB Dunk High collaboration. The historic San Francisco Gold Rush is solely responsible for transforming the small settlement into a bustling boomtown during the mid-1800’s, so HUF revisited that era in Bay Area history by using the earthy colorway accentuated by the rich brown leather upper and the speckled midsole, and finished it off with the pick-axe and shovel logo with the city’s initials on the heel. These remain in fantastic condition, worn very lightly!
