Ikoi [2002]

The Ikoi was designed by Bertrand Racine around the turn of the millennium for the World Cup event in Japan and Korea. Initially Racine proposed the shoe (with a totally different upper & tatami insole) as a slip-on tabi for Nike Soccer that complemented the Mercurial Vapour. The final product, which was released in two colourways, featured an upper that was heavily inspired by the Mercurial Vapour `- even using the same sculptural last shape. These remain in good, used condition. Hard to come across these days! See policies before purchase.
