Land Shark [1986]

At first when we received this pair we thought it might've been some sort of early hiking or orienteering model with its aggressively spiked sole unit. It took some searching to find an ID, but with the encyclopaedic mind of @joel_ldn a few doors up from our studio we didn't have to wait long to find out that this was in fact a pair of Land Sharks, a very early and incredibly rare Nike American Football shoe from 1986. Pairs like this do not come about very often and inevitably bear some great history and patina. The last time we had a pair this old was a year and a half ago with the 1986 Nike PS Waffle. As aforementioned, it is highly unlikely another pair of these will pop up for sale anytime soon, a true piece of Nike history.
