Air VaporMax [2017]

Released in June 2017, the Nike Air VaporMax redefined cushioning by placing segmented Air pods directly underfoot, eliminating traditional midsoles. Designed by Dylan Raasch, it utilised Flyknit and Flywire tech, with low-profile 3M reflective Swooshes on the lateral sides and tone-on-tone branding on the tongue and heel adding subtle accents. Technically, the segmented Air pods provided an adaptive, flexible ride that hugged ground terrain.
