Ovidian [2000]

The Ovidian is without a doubt, one of the most experimental pieces of skateboard footwear design ever created. The definition of Ovidian reads: "relating to or characteristic of the Roman poet Ovid or his works." Ovid was a Roman poet, famous for his tales of metamorphosis - a very fitting name for the shoe that turns inside out, into a new pair of shoes. Each shoe has two main components, a reversible outer shell and a heavily padded slip on liner. Once you've skated/worn down one side of the outer shell, you simply turn them inside out and start afresh. Honestly, the most interesting thing in skateboarding footwear since the Ovidian is @village_pm! These are brand new with box and in immaculate condition - never even been turned inside out!
