The Pre Montreal was originally one of Nike’s best-selling running silhouettes back in the 1970s along with other early models like the Waffle Racer. The model is named after Steve Prefontaine, a 5000m runner who was tragically killed in a car accident before he could compete at the Montreal Games in 1976. The Montreal Racer has seen countless retros over the last 40 years, including a collaboration with Liberty's, of which this sample could be from, not 100% sure. Fairly adamant these didn't release. Good used condition with some age related flaws. Incredibly rare nonetheless.
