For Tisci's first Nike shoe, he reimagined the iconic Air Force 1 silhouette through the lens of luxury couture. He collaborated with NikeLab’s internal design team, including the then creative director Fraser Cooke, to translate high fashion sensibilities into street culture. The design was inspired by Tisci’s lifelong obsession with the AF1 and his desire to create a tribal yet modern look. The shoe featured premium vachetta tan leather and a synthetic grain texture, elevated by a bold woven ankle strap pushing the boundaries of the sneaker’s height and material quality. The baroque-inspired details and layered overlays referenced Tisci’s affinity for religious iconography and athletic heritage. Worn sparingly, uppers are pretty immaculate. Comes with box and tote bag.
