Stüssy Air Huarache [2020]

Back in the late 90s, Fraser Cooke of Nike got in touch with Michael Koppleman of Stüssy to make a super limited, 2 colourway pack of a runner of his choice - Koppleman chose the Air Huarache. Together at the Stüssy London store, they released a Desert Oak and a Dark Olive colourway in super limited numbers. It was the first collaboration between the two brands, and sparked a relationship that would span the next two decades and more. At the time, Nike also had plans for an Air Max 95 in the Desert Oak colourway, but unfortunately they never went to production. In 2020 both colourways of the Air Huarache were revisited and re-released. Here, we have the Desert Oak colourway, worn but in good condition, with OG box. Everything about these is spot on... The materials, shape, box etc. Criminally underrated.
