2004 Nike Zoom E-Cue
The E-Cue was an early SB silhouette that remains one of Nike’s most explorative skate sneakers, with wear as a key design problem to solve. Eric Avar designed the Zoom Air E-Cue, and took the idea of protection to unparalleled levels by constructing the majority of the outsole with super resistant rubber. He kept the sole slim for optimum board feel and control, and included an offset lacing system engineered for fit and function, as well as a full Zoom Air unit.
