The URL released at the same time as the Air Zoom E-Cue, it was Nike's third attempt at releasing skate shoes after the small batch of ACG skate shoes they released around 1999/2000. The URL was designed by Michael Hernandez, he kept seams to a minimum and utilized a hidden stitch side-wall, thus protecting the key wear areas around the laces. The result was an inventive study in rip-resistance that was way ahead of the times. In our opinion, the Zoom URL is a masterclass in 'less is more' footwear design. Cleverly designed to benefit the user, all while letting the materials and colours do the talking. Nike - we need more of this! Good, lightly used condition, with some marks from storage.
